The Moon Keeper gained a massive amount of exposure overnight in August of 2015. After being posted to Reddit it held the most upvoted post in the r/art subreddit for over a year. The originally inspiration for this piece came from watching the moon set along the shores of a lake. The over all tone of this was solidified by the song hey moon by John Maus.
